Bath remodels take on all shapes and forms.  You have probably seen advertisements where a company promises to remodel your tub/shower enclosure in just a few days.  This typically involves slipping some sort of shell over your existing tub and walls, or maybe even painting the tub.  This is a cosmetic fix and doesn’t address what may be behind the walls of your existing shower. We never take this approach.

Even our most basic bath remodel involves removing the existing shower walls, inspecting the plumbing for leaks and updating the shower/tub valves.  We also inspect for mold, which can be present where there is water.  We then install hardy backer concrete board, coat with Red Guard water proofing, then install tile creating a waterproof barrier so water will not penetrate behind the tile.
